The Blinding Light were a tech/metal/hardcore/doom hybrid fronted by vocalist Brian Lovro (ex-Threadbare). Released in 2004, "The Ascension Attempt" fused thrash a metal viciousness (Slayer, Ripping Corpse) with a hardcore ferocity.
