New York's Dead Heart's speed onto the Eastern front with their State of Mind Recordings self-titled debut EP. Featuring ex-members of The Control, The Alleged, and headed by current Can I Say front-man Derek on vocals, the straight forward hardcore, like in past projects is once again evident in Dead Heart's sound. Their melodic edge is easily viable, the blend of old school and new school hardcore ensues its onslaught of cathartic breakdowns and plethora of gang vocals to keep the kids singing along.
